Once again, it was the young French prodigy who topped the Ligue 1 scoring charts with 29 goals. This makes Kylian Mbappé the league's top scorer for the fifth time running. His rivals included the usual Lacazette, fresh back in France with 27 goals, followed by Jonathan David, who continued in the same vein as the previous season but did even better, and Ben Yedder. Other young players such as Balogun, Openda and Wahi have also made their mark in Ligue 1.
