Anderlecht are the most successful club in the Jupiler League, with 34 titles in their cupboard. The 2016/2017 winners are followed by Club Brugge (18), who were successful in the 70s and late 2010s. Union St Gilloise have come a long way since 1935, and have the opportunity to win their 11th title this season, closely followed by Standard de Liège (10). Apart from these clubs, 12 others have won the Belgian championship. Many clubs were champions between 1896 and 1952, but since then Anderlecht and Club Brugge have dominated the list, with the occasional exception.
