Champion with Napoli, Osmimhen made a major contribution to the Neapolitan club's triumph with 26 goals. Another contributor was Kvaratskhelia, who, in addition to being the league's top passer, also scored 12 goals. Aside from the Scudetto champions, Lautaro Martinez came closest to becoming Serie A's top scorer with 21 goals, despite a complicated start to the season. Africans were in the spotlight last season, with Boulaye Dia, Lookman, Nzola and of course Osimhen among the top scorers.
