West Ham – Leverkusen : Victoire Leverkusen @1.88
AS Rome – Milan AC : Victoire Rome @2.72
Marseille – Benfica : Victoire Marseille @2.30

AC Milan – AS Roma : Victoire Milan @1.92
Liverpool – Atalanta : Darwin Nunez buteur

Europa League odds - 1/8th final return leg

Europa League predictions for Thursday, March 14, 2024
Rangers - Benfica : Draw @3.50
After a hard-fought first half in which the two teams played out a 2-2 draw. A similar game is expected in Scotland. Unbeaten in the group phase in front of their own fans, Rangers can contain Benfica's attacking armada to take this match into extra time against a team who have not won in 4 away matches.
Slavia Prague - AC Milan : Slavia Prague doesn't lose @1.55
After upsetting the Milanese team despite a fairly large 4-2 victory for the Italians, Slavia can once again believe in a result against Milan, who will be a little more restrained in this match. Having won all 3 of their group matches on home turf, including one against Roma (2-0), we're favouring a double chance in favour of the home side for this Europa League prediction.
Villareal - Marseille : Both teams score and -4.5 goals @1.72
It's hard to predict how the match will turn out after a first encounter that has already put an end to all suspense. Villareal will need to attack to close the 4-goal gap, but they will surely leave space for Marseille to counter-attack. The match promises to be an open affair, with both teams scoring less than 4.5 goals in the match.
West Ham - Freiburg : West Ham win @1.75
Having won the first leg 1-0, Freiburg travel to London to confirm their success. Only Fribourg have had more trouble away from home, winning just one of their last 7 away games. Already victorious (2-0) in the group phase on this same pitch, we're expecting another Hammers victory for this Europa League prediction.
Atalanta - Sporting : Atalanta win @1.98
With the exception of a minor hiccup in their last home match against Bologna (1-2), Atalanta had won all competitions 8 times in a row in front of their home fans. Having held off Sporting (1-1) in the first leg, we can see the home side getting the better of their opponents, as was already the case to some extent last Thursday. We'd prefer Bergamo to win to reach the quarter-finals.
Leverkusen - Qarabag : Patrick Schick scores @1.60
Having scored in the first leg after coming on as a substitute, the Czech striker should have plenty of chances with Leverkusen after a very disappointing first game for the German club. At home against a team they had largely dominated in the group phase, we're expecting a goal from the young centre-forward to give the hosts qualification.
Brighton - AS Roma : Draw @3.90
With a 4-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico, AS Roma already have one and a half feet in the quarter-finals. In this match, we're expecting the Wolves to ease off, but given Brighton's valuable absentees, we're expecting an evenly-balanced game that could end in a draw after 90 minutes.
Liverpool - Sparta Prague : Cody Gakpo goals @2.17
On a run of 5 games without scoring a single goal, the Dutchman must take advantage of this match, in which Jurgen Klopp is expected to rotate, to regain his confidence. Winners (5-1) at Sparta Prague, the Reds can play this game relaxed, and we're counting on Cody Gakpo to score points in the eyes of his coach.

Europa League odds - 1/8 final first leg

Europa League predictions for Thursday, March 6, 2024
AS Roma - Brighton : Roma win @2.12
Virtually irreproachable at home this season, the Romans have been on a roll since the arrival of Daniele De Rossi. Faced with a Brighton side who have won just one of their last 5 away games, we're favouring a win for the home side in this Europa League prediction.
Qarabag - Leverkusen : Leverkusen win (H-1) @1.78
Two clubs who have already met in the group stage. The Germans outclassed their opponents with a 5-1 victory in their first encounter. Still unbeaten this season, the visitors are expected to put on another show.
Sparta Prague - Liverpool : Liverpool win @1.87
Watch out for Sparta Prague, who made it through to the last 8 by knocking out Galatasaray. The Czechs are unbeaten at home in Europe this season, having beaten both Betis and the Turks. Nevertheless, the Reds' collective strength should make the difference in this encounter.
AC Milan - Slavia Prague : Rafael Leao scores @2.62
Very often the finisher of Milan's attacks, the Portuguese has scored 1 goal in his last 2 Europa League matches. In a match where the home side are likely to dominate, we're favouring a Rafael Leao goal for this Europa League prediction.
Benfica - Rangers : Benfica win @1.55
After a painful elimination of Toulouse, Benfica welcome group winners Rangers. At home, we're expecting a big game from the hosts, who despite their current poor form are still on a 10-game winning streak.
Freiburg - West Ham : Draw @3.35
Once again, a reunion match between Freiburg, who had to overcome Lens, and West Ham, who finished top of their group. Miraculously beaten in the previous round, the home side have nothing left to lose in this competition. After holding Bayern to a draw (2-2), we're expecting another draw.
Marseille - Villareal :

Europa League play-off first leg

Europa League predictions for Thursday, February 15, 2024
Feyenoord - AS Roma : Feyenoord win @2.15
Reigning champions Roma have been dealt a tough hand in the draw. Very solid on their home turf, the Dutch can be expected to win against Jose Mourinho's players, who are very shaky away from home, with odds of 2.15 for this Europa League prediction.
Galatasaray - Sparta Prague Galatasaray victory @1.58
In Turkey, Sparta Prague will be under pressure from a Galatasaray crowd. With a strengthened squad since the summer mercato, the home side are expected to win against a team that has proved vulnerable away from home in this Europa League.
Shakhtar - Marseille Draw @3.25
A perilous trip for Marseille. Although the match will be played on neutral ground in Hamburg, Germany, Shakhtar are historically a tough nut to crack, having beaten Barça in the group stage. They have also eliminated Monaco and Rennes in the last 2 seasons. OM are not convincing enough away from home at the moment, which is why we're favoring a draw in absolute terms at odds of 3.25.
Young Boys - Sporting Draw @3.90
It's a great match-up here between Young Boys, who have come off the back of a C1 defeat, and a Sporting team used to European competitions. While the visitors' talent is capable of making the difference at any moment, the Swiss club's solidity means we can expect a draw.
AC Milan - Rennes : Milan victory @1.63
Having made an inconsistent start to the season, it's hard to see how Rennes will be able to trouble Olivier Giroud's team-mates at the San Siro, but between now and mid-February, things could change for either side. The stakes look very high for the Bretons, who could lose the first leg without necessarily showing any demerit.
Benfica - Toulouse Benfica win by at least 2 goals @1.78
Having qualified with honors by finishing 2nd behind Liverpool, TFC's epic journey should end there against a team who are now among the favorites for the title. Benfica's experience and talent should quickly make the difference, and we're expecting a logical victory for the home side in this first leg.
Braga - Qarabag Braga wins at half-time @1.85
As we all know, travelling from Azerbaijan is never easy. Even if Qarabag have put in a very serious performance in the group phase. The Braga team's experience should enable them to quickly gain the upper hand in the first leg at home.
Lens - Fribourg Victoire Lens @1.72
After an interesting run in the Champions League, including prestigious victories over Arsenal (2-1) and Sevilla (2-1), Lens find themselves up against Freiburg in an open duel. Even if the German club is a very difficult team to maneuver, Franck Haise's players should take the lead in this double confrontation with interesting odds of 1.72 for this europa league prediction.

Over the last 10 years to 2023, the UEFA Europa League landscape has been dominated by Sevilla, winning the competition 5 times (2014, 2015, 2016, 2020 and 2023). The Sevillian club was also remarkable in winning the last competition, not being the favorite at the start, but this team is cut out for this tournament. How to predict the Europa League?

1Analyze the stats: Before making your Ligue Europa 1X2 predictions, take the time to analyze the teams' stats, such as recent performances, home and away results, number of goals scored and conceded, etc. This will give you a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the teams involved. This will give you a better understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the teams involved.
In the Europa League last season, there were 50% home wins, 20% draws and 32% away wins. In other words, on a 10-game day, 5 teams will win at home, 2 will draw and 3 will win away.
2Take absences into account: Injuries, suspensions or the absence of key players can have a significant impact on a team's performance. Be sure to check the information on absences before making your Europa League prediction.
We all know the importance of goalscorers in the Europa League. Liverpool are not the same with or without Salah, and the same goes for Manchester City, who relied heavily on their competition top scorer En-Nesyri to help them win the title.
3Consider head-to-head matches: Previous matches between two teams can provide interesting clues for your Europa League prediction. Take into account past results and performances in head-to-head encounters.
4Consider the context for your Europa League predictions: Take into account what's at stake in the match, such as the race for the second round, the fight for third place in the European Cup or the battle to avoid elimination. These factors can influence the teams' motivation and intensity.
5Keep up to date with the latest team news, injuries, suspensions, coaching changes and more. This information can have an impact on team performance.
The psychological shock of a change of coach can give a team a boost. Just as the absence of a top scorer or top passer can cripple a team.
6Study styles of play: Every team has its own style of play. Try to understand the tactics and patterns used by teams to predict how they might perform in a given match.
Like Inter Milan with their well-oiled 3-5-2 or Guardiola's with Manchester City, or Xavi and the Blaugrana's 4-midfield game.
7Manage your bankroll: When placing a Europa League prediction, it's important to manage your bankroll responsibly. Set yourself a dedicated sports betting budget and never bet more than you can afford to lose.
It is generally recommended not to exceed 5% of your bankroll.

How does the Europa League work?

The Europa League is one of Europe's leading soccer competitions, organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). It follows on from the UEFA Champions League, which is considered the continent's most prestigious club competition. The Europa League provides an opportunity for European clubs from different national leagues to compete for the title.
👉 Qualification: Clubs enter the competition according to their performance in their national leagues. Teams that finish well but failed to qualify for the Champions League may enter the Europa League group stage directly. Other teams, who have finished in lower positions in their domestic leagues, may have to go through qualifying rounds to reach the group stage.
👉Group stage: Qualified teams are divided into groups of four teams each. Each team plays a home match and an away match against the other teams in its group. Matches are played in an all-against-all format. Teams earn points according to their performance (win, draw or loss). At the end of this phase, the top two teams in each group, plus the eight third-placed teams with the best results, qualify for the round of sixteen.
👉 Direct elimination: From the round of sixteen onwards, the competition becomes direct elimination. Teams play each other over two legs (home and away). The team with the most goals scored over the two legs qualifies for the next round. In the event of a tie after the two matches, criteria such as extra time may be used to determine the winner. If necessary, a penalty shoot-out can be used to decide the winner.
👉 Quarter-finals, semi-finals and final: The knockout process continues through to the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finally the final. The two finalist teams face each other in a single match to determine the winner of the Europa League. The venue for the final may vary from year to year and is decided in advance.
👉 The winning club of the Europa League is not only awarded the title of Europa League champion, but also earns the right to automatically participate in the group stage of the next UEFA Champions League.
